Tahira called me Sunday night to ask about doing a last minute interview. After dealing with Ali from the Times, I was a little gunshy. Although I finally consented to doing the story, I still had a few misgivings.

All said, she didn't do a horrible job telling the story. I was a little concerned about how she used a few of the quotes and references from my website out of context, especially the mis-reference to my in-laws. Ahhh, what do you expect from a phone interview?

I was unable to locate the full text of Tahira's story online, and I was feeling too beat to transcribe the whole thing. As a result, the only copy available is the scanned PDF file. If you would like to read it, you can download it here. Luckily, this file is only 1M in size. It's still a little too big to download if you are using a dial-up connection, but that's your choice, not mine!
