Introduction
Howdy!
We're Jess & Sharon!
For some strange reason :) recently a lot of people have become interested in our lives… Go figure?!?!? As a result I've put this page together to answer a few of your questions and to tell you a bit about us.
First things first. I'm married to the most wonderful spouse ever! We've been together for over 17 years, and we're planning on being together for a lot longer still! We are both devout Christian Catholics and together we have five grown children that have succeeded in bringing us a great deal of joy (and not a few grey hairs!)
We are both originally from the great state of Indiana in the middle of the United States of America. For just over the last year we've been living in London, England. Since we both love to travel, being in London has given us all of Europe as our playground. Just in the last year we have visited Spain, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Scotland, Belgium, Switzerland, Bahrain, and Malta!
Professionally, I've been in the IT industry for over 25 years. The majority of my experience is in business consulting and systems analysis/design in the areas of LANs, WANs, and SANs. I currently work for the leading provider of hardware, software, and consulting for the worldwide enterprise storage marketplace. My current position is the principle consultant for European services related to business continuity and disaster recovery. In this role I consult on and design BC/DR solutions for governments, financial institutions, and other large corporations and organizations.
Personally, my hobbies include travel, music, photography, metal and wood-working, leaded glass, and whatever other media happens to take my fancy! For an example of some of my various pieces, please check out the art sections under the "Personal Links" section to the left. Additionally, I enjoy snorkelling in warm, clear waters, attending live concerts and performances, visiting galleries and museums, and just about anything that pushes boundaries. I've SCUBAed, jumped out of airplanes, and flown in a variety of strange and wonderful contraptions!
